The only problem I had was the ir and vis lasers co-alignment is off. The visit is alot higher. Not a big deal since I will never use the vis. This thing combine with my gen3 are amazing so for me, its well worth the money.

Played with this some last night (thanks to CDR Very Happy) with my gen1+, the IR illuminator has a very concentrated beam. At 120 feet its about 3 1/2 feet in diameter with hardly any flood light. Brightness is comparable to the Surefire V2 with my gen1+ but it is a lot brighter if you have gen3. The IR laser is great for quick target acquisition and I preferred to use it on low as it was very bright. If it will retain zero on my real steel I will definitely pick one up.

Yea it was freaking awsome for the price and a must have with the NVG! After playing with it last night I have to say you can't have one without the other. Damn fine job on the the sight alignment! If the IR lazer touched it, you got a hit. It was a tad too bright on high but I'm wondering it that would change at longer distances.

We've been able to convert a peq-15 to work with an ir laser but we are still perfecting it. I like the 15 because it's more correct for the loadout. G&P needs to make the 15 instead of this dbal thing. You only really see it in the civilian market.
